loved the instructor and my fellow students. One on one was good. She came around the room and viewed what we were doing and responded immediately when asked. Some in the group talked over her when she was trying to instruct, No fault of hers.

Reem is knowledgeable and very patient with her students. She made the event so special by bringing snacks and even setting the table. She was very prepared and offered constructive criticism that was well received. I WILL be taking more classes from her.

Title or Location: Mountain Strong
This painting is a tribute to the Appalachian people and what they?re going through right now from the effects of hurricane Helena. We are Appalachian people and we are mountain strong. Though we have been beaten, battered and bruised, and our tears are filled with sorrow. with God?s helping hand, we will rise to climb our beautiful mountains again. Proud to call these mountains our home.

Title or Location: Spirit of Autumn (In Moonlight)
I just wanted a kind of haunting moonlit fall scene with a tree overlooking a babbling little creek with a couple of small waterfalls. This is one of my favorite paintings that I have painted since I started painting in February.

As I painted the painting I noticed that it reminded me of the Cheshire Cat as he disappeared. The last thing to go was always his eyes and grinning mouth.

I painted this picture on the evening of May the fourth of this year. It took me about two hours to complete and it is oil on canvas board using the wet on wet method of painting. I painted my first painting on February fifth of this year and am so happy and excited about how quickly I am improving. I always loved the Joy of Painting TV show as a kid and finally made the decision to give painting a try. I truly appreciate all the love and support that I have received from my friends and family i

Cody was a much loved rescue and brought joy to his family. I felt using soft pastels was the best medium to use and managed to convey his character, which the client loved.

This image was hand drawn and oil painted on a 12x16 canvas sheet. It is in memory of a baby Squirrel that myself and my teenage daughter raised years ago. We called him Icarus.I was Veterinarian Technician at the time and my daughter actually grew up to be a Veterinarian. Such laughs we had with that baby Squirrel!
